We spent years making custom type for clients. Eventually we wanted to make type of our own, and we didn't want to release it on the same platforms as everyone else. We wanted a home for type we believed in, ours and other designers', some of it made together. Type matters most when it leaves the studio and becomes part of other people's words, ideas, identities, and stories. We believe good type should be everywhere, and open to anyone. So we made it Public.
