Ghostly Gothic
Ghostly Gothic is a refined grotesque with a quiet edge, rooted in early sans-serif traditions and gently sharpened by the formal grace of copperplate influences. Originally drawn for Ghostly International, it was designed to carry both identity and atmosphere, adapting fluidly across evolving brand systems with a tone that’s steady, assured, and unmistakably present.
It performs with clarity at every scale, from large, expressive display to finely tuned editorial typography, always retaining legibility in small sizes without sacrificing character. Subtle cuts, soft modulation, and confident restraint reshape its familiar skeleton into something unexpectedly distinct. A unicase mode, blunt quotation marks, stylistic alternates, and ornamental symbols add texture and range, inviting both utility and experimentation.
Ghostly Gothic is now available in five weights, with full support for Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic scripts.
